Inspired by Dartmoor’s atmospheric landscapes, Mary etches scenes of its valleys, woodlands and open moors onto metal plates, then passes them through her traditional printing press, pictured.

“I like to score and furrow, scrape and burnish the plates, and then re-score and re-furrow them until they look as if they have been eroded by the elements themselves,” says Mary.

Mary's workshops are suitable for everyone from complete beginners to experienced printmakers.
